Narelle's
work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout Australia,
and in the U.K., U.S.A., Canada, Denmark, Switzerland, New Zealand and many
International Resorts.
Narelle
Telford grew up in Sydney and now lives on the North Coast of NSW with her
husband, in an idyllic setting between the forest and the sea near Coffs
Harbour.
Always an
adventurous spirit, Narelle's trips through Europe, Africa and Asia influenced
her early works.
Treks through
Central Australia and the Simpson Desert by camel and on foot and through
Western NSW along the Darling River to Kinchega and Mungo National Parks have
resulted in a joyful and colourful celebration of Australian landscapes
highlighting the bush and desert regions.
"
Capturing the essence, feelings and emotions of a subject is of prime
importance to my work, dictating the development and colours used. The
fluidity of applying my thoughts to a painting results in a dynamic and
shifting diversity of work. Either contemporary or abstract, my style and
subject matter vary, so interpretation can be left to the
individual"
